  • Directs a broad range of transportation infrastructure issues, including engineering projects; road and bridge design and construction; and maintenance of the district's transportation system.
  • Served as Director (1999-2009) and Deputy Director (1996-1999) of the Traffic Operations Division; and Traffic Engineering Section Manager (1993-1996).
  • Joining TxDOT's Pharr District as a summer employee while in college, he began full-time in 1982 as a field engineer in the Design Division and served later in the Maintenance and Operations Division.
