Esperanza Hernandez, Mayan farmer and leader of IJATZ Cooperative in Solola, Guatemala
Texas A&M's project is helping Mayan farmers in the poorest areas of Guatemala diversify, process, and sell their crops through technical assistance and training. Esperanza will tell the story of how this agricultural development project has transformed their lives and helped them survive very difficult times after enduring social, economical, and environmental crises.
