The Hidalgo County MPO is proud to announce the 4th Bi-Annual Border to Border Transportation Conference. In the wake of a new transportation bill, this premier event will highlight mobility, safety, public involvement, economic development, and innovation at all levels of planning. Speakers and guests from around the Canada, Mexico and United States will gather to focus on transportation issues ranging from mobility and safety to economic development and cross-border coordination efforts. Attendees will include transportation professionals from both the public and private sector, engineers, freight/logistic specialists, elected officials, and concerned citizens. Conference Registration Information
Online Registration
To register for this conference, please register online. The registration fee is $100 until Tuesday, September 25, 2012. After September 25, all registration fees will be assessed a $50 late fee. You may pay your registration fee by check, money order, or credit card. Payment must be postmarked by September 25 in order to avoid the late fee. TTI Event Management & Planning (EM&P) cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference.
Online registration will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2012.
Speaker Registration Information
To register for this conference, please register online. Speakers attend this event at no cost and are allowed to attend the opening night reception and luncheons. Speakers need to submit their presentations to Maria Champine and the moderator.
Exhibitor Information
Exhibitors do NOT need to register online. If you are interested in exhibiting/sponsoring this event, please contact Maria Champine.

On-site registration will be available on the second floor during the following times:

Cancellation
Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 pm Friday, October 26, 2012, will be refunded, less a $25 handling fee. No refunds will be made if received after Friday, October 26, 2012. Please e-mail your request to events@tamu.edu. At any time, if the registered participant cannot attend this conference, someone else may attend in his/her place.

Two tours are scheduled for Thursday afternoon, November 15, 2012:

- MultiModal Center, Brownsville, Texas
For those who do not wish to participate in the tours, there are a series of events scheduled for the afternoon of November 15, 2012 for an additional fee. Next to the registration desk, Osprey Cruises will be taking reservations for any event you wish to take part in, and you pay on-sight.
