Registration Fees

Online registration is no longer available for this conference. NOTE: On-site registration will not be available. The conference is full.

  • Conference attendance will be limited to 1,000 participants.
  • Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Advance registration only. On-site registration will not be available.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) employees are not required to pay a registration fee for this conference. However, please register so that a nametag will be available for you upon check-in at the conference.

For Non-TxDOT and Non-FHWA participants, the registration fee will be $125 until July 13, 2007. After July 13, the registration fee will be assessed a $25 late fee.

Registration fees are due prior to the event. Payment can be sent to TTI Event Management & Planning (EM&P). You may pay your registration fee by check, money order, or credit card. Please make checks or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-Design/Bridge07. TTI- EM&P also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.

Payment must be received by July 13, 2007 to avoid the late fee. EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

NOTE: Online registration will be available until we reach 1,000 participants or until 5:00 pm CST, August 6, 2007. After this date, no registrations will be accepted.

Cancellation

Only cancellations received in writing by TTI-EM&P by 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday, July 13, 2007 will be refunded, less $25 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after July 13.

Exhibit Area

An exhibitor showcase will be open during the following times:

Monday, August 13, 2007; 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 14, 2007; 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 15, 2007; 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

There are a limited number of exhibit booths available for this conference. Exhibits will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Hotel Reservations

The host hotel is the Omni Bayfront Hotel. Located in the lively downtown Marina District, the four-diamond Omni Bayfront Hotel offers spectacular views of the Corpus Christi Bay. To receive special conference rates, individuals should call the Omni Bayfront Hotel at (361) 887-1600 or (800) 843-6664, and identify the event as "TxDOT Design & Bridge Conference 2007". These group rates are available 3 days prior and 3 days after the meeting dates, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation. All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid major credit card, which will be supplied at the time of reservation. Cancellations will be accepted prior to 12:00 p.m. (noon) local hotel time, on the day of arrival. If the reservation is no longer required and is not cancelled prior to this time, the reservation will be released and subsequent room and tax charges will be billed to the credit card on file.

Please confirm your room rate when you make your reservation and confirm this rate upon your arrival at the hotel. Please assist us in keeping conference costs down by meeting our room block requirements at this hotel. All reservations for this event must be received by July 23, 2007. Reservations for this event received after this date and time will be accepted on a space available and rate available basis.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

You may call the Omni Bayfront Hotel to check for cancellations or use the list of overflow options below. Note – Transportation is not provided to and from the host hotel. All reservations for this event must be received by July 23, 2007. Reservations for this event received after this date are subject to availability and may not qualify for your group's rate. The Best Western is a 100% non-smoking hotel. A $300 fee will apply to individual holding payment for the room. Please note: Any attendee not identifying his/her affiliation with the group and not requesting the conference rate prior to check-in cannot be extended the conference rate at a later date or during or after the meeting.
Additional Overflow Hotel Options

Note: These hotels do not have a formal room block with the Design/Bridge Conference. These have been listed as a convenience. These hotels will extend the state government rate to state government employees only. Proper identification will be required at check-in.

Driving Directions

FROM CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – 12 MILES/15MINUTES

Go East on Highway 44 to 358 North. Turn right onto IH-37 South to Shoreline Boulevard, then right on Shoreline Boulevard. The hotel is located on the right.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH – VIA I-37 SOUTH

Take I-37 South. At exit 1A turn left onto ramp. At exit 1B, keep left and stay on ramp. Bear right (south) onto North Shoreline Boulevard. The Bayfront Tower is on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Twigg Street. The Marina Tower is one block south on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Starr Street.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH – VIA US-77 SOUTH

Take US-77 South onto I-37 South. Follow I-37 South to exit 1A. Turn left onto ramp. At exit 1B keep left and stay on ramp. Bear right (south) onto North Shoreline Boulevard. The Bayfront Tower is on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Twigg Street. The Marina Tower is one block south on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Starr Street.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH – VIA US-77 NORTH

Take US-77 North to where the road name changes to Five Points Road. Take ramp right onto I-37 South. Take I-37 South and at exit 1A turn left onto ramp. At exit 1B keep left and stay on ramp. Bear right (south) onto North Shoreline Boulevard. The Bayfront Tower is on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Twigg Street. The Marina Tower is one block south on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Starr Street.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST – VIA US-59 EAST

Take US-59 East to I-37 access and take ramp onto I-37. Take I-37 South and at exit 1A turn left onto ramp. At exit 1B, keep left and stay on ramp. Bear right (south) onto North Shoreline Boulevard. The Bayfront Tower is on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Twigg Street. The Marina Tower is one block south on the corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Starr Street.

Parking

The Omni Bayfront Hotel provides complimentary parking for over 700 people. Valet parking is available for a fee.
