
The Future of Freight Forum is a joint project of the Corpus Christi MPO and the Texas Department of Transportation. The Forum will initiate a public dialogue on the changing dynamics of the freight industry. Speakers will address such topics as the global economic slowdown; erratic fuel prices; expansion of the Panama Canal; linkage of Mexico ports with Texas ports; impact of LaQuinta and possible Robstown facility; rail improvements in Texas and Mexico; the proposed freight shuttle, etc. More information at http://www.corpuschristi-mpo.org/.

Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 pm CST January 23, 2009 will be refunded, less a $25 handling fee. No refunds will be made after February 6, 2009.
Speakers are required to register online no later than February 6, 2009. Speaker registration is complimentary.
