Plan now to attend the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 13th International HOV/HOT conference in Minneapolis, MN September 7-9, 2008 at the University Radisson Hotel. The conference will highlight the latest developments in HOV, HOT, and managed lanes projects throughout North America. Information will also be presented on supporting elements including transit and BRT, park-and-ride facilities, and ridesharing. Updates on the Urban Partnership Agreement (UPA) projects will be highlighted.

Tour of I-394

A field trip will be taken to I-394 on Monday, September 8, 2008 (1:30-3:00 p.m.) which includes the MnPASS corridor, the downtown Minneapolis multimodal garages, the busway between the St Paul and the Minneapolis campuses of the University of Minnesota, and the Mn/DOT Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC). Tour costs $25 and transportation will be provided.

FHWA HOT Lanes Workshop

FHWA will be hosting a workshop on planning, designing, implementing, operating, enforcing and monitoring HOT lanes Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning of the conference. Registration Information

Online registration is no longer available for this conference. please plan to register on-site at the Radisson University Hotel.

Pre-registration is recommended and will help us in planning and preparing a better conference. If you pre-register, your name tag and program packet will be ready when you arrive at the hotel. The fee is $225 through Friday, August 15, 2008. A $50 late fee will be added to registrations received after August 15, 2008. (Tour cost: $25.)

Please make check or money order (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-HOV08. Event Management & Planning (EM&P) also accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. If paying by check or money order, you may register online and then mail your payment to EM&P. EM&P can not invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference. NO PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

Conference registration will be available at the hotel immediately prior to the conference. On-site registration fee of $275 will be in effect during that time. Check, money order, exact cash, and credit card payments will be accepted on-site.

Cancellations

Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 p.m. August 15, 2008, will be refunded, less a $50 handling fee. No refunds will be made after August 15, 2008.

Hotel Reservations

The Radisson University Hotel is holding a block of rooms for our use at the nightly rate of $109 for single and double rooms plus appropriate taxes. We encourage everyone needing a room to call immediately since we anticipate the rooms will be booked quickly.

Reservations should be made by Friday, August 22, 2008. After this date, rooms are subject to availability and may be at a higher rate. To receive this conference rate, please:
