The Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor Coalition and the Texas Department of Transportation invite you to attend the Ports-to-Plains 2006 Summit.

"Taking Care of Business" is the theme for this year's event, exploring innovative opportunities to efficiently move goods and services along the Port-to-Plains Trade Corridor. The sessions include discussions on economic development, the outlook on trade along the corridor, energy, trucking and much more.

We are excited about bringing together our local partners and the private sector to discuss these issues related to transportation. The summit is an excellent opportunity to network with leaders along the corridor from Denver to Laredo, as well as state officials from Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Summit Attire

Dress for the conference will be business. Dress for the reception will be business casual.

Summit Location

A reception will be held Wednesday, October 11 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Towers from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

On October 12 the Summit will start at 7:30 am with a continental breakfast at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Summit Registration Information

Online registration is no longer available. However, you may still register for this event by contacting Duffy Hinkle at duffy.hinkle@ports-to-plains.com or 806-775-3373.

Early Registration
Early registration by Friday, September 29th at 5:00 pm.

The registration fee is $50. You may pay your registration fee by check, money order, or credit card. Please make checks or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-Ports-to-Plains. EM&P accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards only.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

Payment must be postmarked by September 29 in order to avoid the late fee. EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference.

Late Registration
After September 29th, the registration fee will be $60 payable by check or money order to Ports-to-Plains. Registration information should be directed to: Duffy Hinkle.

Hotel Information

Accommodations have been arranged at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Towers. For details about the Hotel, please visit their web site.

Single: $80

To receive special conference rates, individuals should call the hotel directly at 806-763-1200 and identify the event as "Ports-To-Plains." Please confirm your room rate when you make your reservation and confirm this rate upon your arrival at the hotel. Please assist us in keeping conference costs down by meeting our room block requirements at this hotel. The discounted conference room rates will be available until the block fills or until Monday, October2, 2006.

Please note: Any attendee not identifying his/her affiliation with the group and not requesting the conference rate prior to check-in can not be extended the conference rate at a later date or during the meeting.

Parking

The Holiday Inn Hotel and Towers offers complimentary parking for all participants.

The Lubbock Memorial Civic Auditorium also offers complimentary parking for all participants.
