Texas Public Transportation Performance Reporting Training Courses

The Texas Public Transportation Performance Reporting course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to collect, report and analyze public transportation performance data to meet State requirements. This course will enable public transportation providers and coordinators to understand data definitions and collection methods, report accurate and consistent data, provide management analysis and identify opportunities to enhance performance.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Complete Form PTN-128 with consistency in definition
  • Understand data collection methods
  • Analyze data for accuracy, quality control and assurance
  • Use efficiency, effectiveness, local investment and maintenance indicators to monitor operations
  • Understand the State's funding formula performance measures and goals
  • Identify performance enhancement possibilities

Course Duration, Locations and Class Size

2 days (participants attend both days)
Day one: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Day two: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Two-day sessions will be held in cities throughout the State in the months of February through April. See the schedule for specific dates and locations.

Space is available for up to three persons per agency; however, some classes may fill quickly. You may register for any class you prefer. Participants from the same agency are not required to attend the same class. Class size will be limited to a maximum 20 persons to ensure individual attention to each participant. TTI reserves the right to cancel a class if there are not at least six registered participants within one week prior to the class date.

Supervisors, managers, assistant supervisors/managers, lead workers, project managers and Public Transportation Coordinators (PTCs)

Registration is required for all attendees. This course is free of charge.

TxDOT Travel Reimbursement Information
