The Texas Department of Transportation invites you to the 2009 Texas Ports and Waterways Conference. The conference will be at the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas September 2-4, 2009.

Conference Attire

Dress for the conference is business casual.

Registration Information

You are encouraged to register online for this event.

Online registration will be available until 5:00 pm CST August 21, 2009. After this date, please plan to register on-site at the Omni Corpus Christi. At which time the on-site registration rate of $250 will apply.

Onsite Registration/Information Desk

On-site registration will be available at the Omni Corpus Christi during the conference.

Registration Fees
  • $175, Early Registration fee through August 3, 2009
  • $225, Regular Registration fee after August 3, 2009
  • $250, Onsite Registration fee after August 21, 2009
Payment Information

Please make checks or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-PWW09. Event Management & Planning (EM&P) also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. If paying by check or money order, you may register online and then mail your payment to EM&P. EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference. NO PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED.

Payment must be postmarked by August 3, 2009 in order to avoid the late fee.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI-EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

Cancellations

Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 p.m. August 3, 2009 will be refunded, less a $25 handling fee. No refunds will be made after August 3.

Speaker Information

We extend our appreciation for your acceptance to speak at the 2009 Texas Ports & Waterways Conference.

Speakers will be responsible for producing their own PowerPoint presentations. Presentations should be sent to Paul Douglas no later than August 19, 2009.

Speakers should register online no later than August 3, 2009.

Non-government, $110 per night

To receive special conference rates, individuals can call the hotel directly at (361) 887-1600 or 800-THE-OMNI and identify the event as "2009 Ports & Waterways Conference". The conference code is #14500808678. Group rates will be offered (3) days prior and (3) days after the meeting dates – subject to availability. Please confirm your room rate when you make your reservation and confirm this rate upon your arrival at the hotel. Please assist us in keeping conference costs down by meeting our room block requirements at this hotel. All reservations for this event must be received on or before August 14, 2009. Reservations for this event received after this date will be accepted on a space available and rate available basis.

Please note: Any attendee not identifying his/her affiliation with the group and not requesting the conference rate prior to check-in can not be extended the conference rate at a later date or during the meeting.

Parking

The Omni Corpus Christi Hotel will provide complimentary parking for overnight guests for the duration of their stay. Valet parking is available for a fee.
