The 2012 Texas Ports & Waterways Conference is focused on providing practical information for port authorities, engineers, consultants, government officials and others who deal with the development and management of port facilities in Texas. The conference is designed to allow time for networking and for interaction with speakers, starting with the welcoming reception hosted by the Texas Ports Association and the Texas Waterways Operators Association. The Port of Corpus Christi is hosting a night at the ballpark on August 2. Join us at Whataburger Field for beer, soft drinks, burgers, and hot dogs and a GREAT NIGHT OF ENTERTAINMENT as we watch the Corpus Christi Hooks take on the San Antonio Missions.

Conference Registration
You are encouraged to register online for this event.
Pre-registration is recommended and will help us in planning and preparing a better conference. If you pre-register, your name tag and program packet will be ready when you arrive at the conference. The early bird fee is $195 and will be available through June 20, 2012. After June 20, the registration fee will be $245. The on-site registration fee will be $245.
Please make check or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-P&W12. Event Management & Planning (EM&P) also accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. If paying by check or money order, you may register online and then mail your payment to EM&P.
EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference.
Payment must be postmarked by June 20, 2012 in order to take advantage of the early payment discount.
For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI-EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.
NOTE: Online registration will be available until 5:00 p.m. CST, July 23, 2012. After this date, please plan to register on-site at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel – Bayfront Tower.

Cancellations
Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 pm CST on June 20, 2012 will be refunded, less a $50 handling fee. No refunds will be made after June 20, 2012.

Speaker Information
We extend our appreciation for your acceptance to speak at the 2012 Ports & Waterways Conference. If for some reason you cannot attend we would hope that you could send another person in your place. Several weeks before the conference, you will receive a written confirmation of the date and time for your presentation.
Speakers who are only speaking and not attending any meals or functions will not be required to pay a registration fee. All others should register according to the registration rate guidelines.

Hotel Reservations
Reservations have been set up at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel – Bayfront Tower.
To receive special conference rates, individuals should call (800) 843-6664 and identify the event as "TTI-Ports & Waterways Conference" or make reservations online. Please confirm your room rate when you make your reservation and confirm this rate upon your arrival at the hotel. Please assist us in keeping conference costs down by meeting our room block requirements at this hotel. All reservations for sleeping rooms must be received by midnight on Friday, July 20, 2012. Any reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space or rate available basis.
Sleeping Room Rates
Standard - $88 per night
Cancellations will be accepted at least 24 hours prior to the day of arrival.
- Check-in time is 3:00 pm.
- Check-out time is 12:00 noon.
Please note: Any attendee not identifying his/her affiliation with the group and not requesting the conference rate prior to check-in cannot be extended the conference rate at a later date or during or after the meeting.
Transportation
You will be responsible for your own transportation to the conference.
Parking
The Omni Corpus Christi Hotel - Bayfront Marina Towers is extending complimentary self parking to conference attendees.
