TxDOT Small Business Briefings

TxDOT will conduct briefings around the state for small and minority-owned businesses providing contract opportunities and information on how to do business with TxDOT and with the State of Texas. The briefings will provide General Industry Sessions to include specific information on doing business in the construction, goods & services, information technology and professional engineering service industries. Breakout Sessions will cover small and minority-owned business certifications, resources for small business development, and business marketing for state contracts. Each briefing will also include a Networking Reception and a Contracting Opportunities Showcase with agencies on-site to answer questions.

The Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre has up to 600 spaces available. Covered self parking is available to any guest with direct access into the hotel at $3.00 per car based upon space availability and is subject to change without notice.

Parking at the Camino Real Hotel

The hotel provides underground-secured parking for $2.00 per car, per day based upon space availability and is subject to change without notice. The parking garage has approximately 200 parking spaces for Hotel guests and conference attendees.

Online registration deadlines are at 5:00 p.m. CST on the following days:

  • El Paso - Friday, October 21, 2009
  • Dallas - Friday, March 19, 2010
  • Texarkana - Friday, June 4, 2010

You may pay your registration fee by check, money order, or credit card. Please make checks or money orders payable to TTI-SBB10 and mail your payment to Event Management & Planning (EM&P). EM&P also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards online or over the phone.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI-EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

On-site Registration

On-site registration is available beginning at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event for a fee of $60 payable by check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) only.
Cash will not be accepted on-site.

Workshop Attire

Dress for the conference will be business/business casual.
