Conference Registration

Online registration is no longer available for this conference. On-site registration will be available at the Omni Bayfront Hotel immediately prior to the conference.

Pre-registration is recommended and will help us in planning and preparing a better conference. If you pre-register, your name tag and program packet will be ready when you arrive at the hotel. The fee is $125 through March 21, 2007. A $25 late fee will be added to registrations received after March 21, 2007. A $50 fee will be added for all on-site registrations. TxDOT employees are exempt from the registration fee, but still must register in advance for the conference.

Please make check or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-Avtn07. Event Management & Planning (EM&P) also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. If paying by check or money order, you may register online and then mail your payment to EM&P. EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference. NO PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED.

The registration fee covers conference handouts, break refreshments, Wednesday and Thursday evening activities, including the awards banquet.

Cancellation

Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 will be refunded, less $25 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after March 21.

Special Activities

Golf Tournament

On Wednesday, April 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our 10th Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled at the North Shore Country Club in Portland, Texas—located on the Corpus Christi Bay. All golfers must be registered to attend the conference. If you are interested in playing, please contact the TxDOT Aviation office at 800-68-PILOT, for further information as there will be a small fee.

Fishing Tournament

Also on Wednesday there will be a Fishing Tournament [PDF] . The "catch and release" tournament will be based on the honor system. Each contestant will be provided a map to public access fishing areas. For additional information, please contact Scott Bryan in the TxDOT Aviation office at 800-68-PILOT.

Get-Acquainted Reception

A get acquainted reception is planned for Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm The reception will start in the Exhibit Area at the Omni hotel with Hors d'Oeuvres and continue on Captain Clark's Flagship Cruise Boat. The 1-hour cruise will start at 7:00 pm.

Awards Banquet

On Thursday evening there will be an Awards Banquet at the Ortiz Center located at 400 Harbor Drive in Corpus Christi. There will be transportation provided from the Hotel to the Banquet. A Social will take place immediately following the Awards Banquet.

Hotel Reservations

The Omni Bayfront Hotel is holding a block of rooms for our use at the nightly rate of $120 for single and double occupancy rooms. We encourage everyone needing a room to call immediately since we anticipate the rooms will be booked quickly. Reservations should be made by March 27, 2007. After this date, rooms are subject to availability and may be at a higher rate. To receive this conference rate, please call the Omni at 361-887-1600 or 800-843-6664. Remember to ask for reservations for the "25th Annual Texas Aviation Conference" to receive special rates on rooms.

Parking

The Omni Corpus Christi Bayfront Hotel provides complimentary parking for over 700 people. Valet parking is available for a fee.

Shuttle Service

If you need transportation from Corpus Christi International Airport, the Omni Bayfront Hotel offers complimentary airport transportation to and from the Corpus Christi International Airport. To arrange for this service, please call the hotel upon arrival at the airport. There is a phone provided at the airport that will connect you with the hotel.
