Conference Registration

Online registration is no longer available for this conference. On-site registration will be available at the Renaissance Hotel and Resort immediately prior to the conference.

Pre-registration is recommended and will help us in planning and preparing a better conference. If you pre-register, your name tag and program packet will be ready when you arrive at the hotel. The fee is $125 through March 19, 2008. A $50 late fee will be added to registrations received after March 19, 2008. An additional $75 fee will be added for all on-site registrations. TxDOT employees are exempt from the registration fee, but must register in advance for the conference.

Please make check or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-Avtn08. Event Management & Planning (EM&P) also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. If paying by check or money order, you may register online and then mail your payment to EM&P. EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference. NO PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI-EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

The registration fee covers conference handouts, break refreshments, Tuesday and Wednesday evening activities, including the awards banquet.

Cancellation

Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 p.m. CST on March 19, 2008 will be refunded, less $50 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after this date.

Special Activities

Golf Tournament

The golf tournament is now full, we will no longer be accepting players.

On Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our 11th Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled at the Bluebonnet Golf Club located in Austin, Texas. All golfers must be registered to attend the conference. If you are interested in playing, please contact Russell Deason at the TxDOT Aviation office at 800-68-PILOT, for further information as there will be a small fee.

Bowling Tournament

Also on Tuesday, there will be a Bowling Tournament, sponsored by Garver Engineers, from 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. The tournament will consist of two hours of bowling and lunch will be included. There will be a fee. Participants are not required to be registered for the conference. Please contact Sandra Braden at (512) 416-4544 with TxDOT Aviation for details.

Get-Acquainted Reception

A get acquainted reception, sponsored by Associated General Contractors, is planned for Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The reception will be in the Exhibit Area at the Renaissance hotel with Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Awards Banquet

Plan to join us on Wednesday evening for the Awards Banquet. All registered participants are encouraged to attend. Guest tickets are also available for $30. Tickets can be purchased online when you register for the conference. A Social, hosted by Rodriguez Engineering, will take place immediately following the Awards Banquet.

Hotel Reservations

The Renaissance Hotel is holding a block of rooms for our use at the nightly rate of $159 for single and double occupancy rooms. We encourage everyone who needs a sleeping room to make reservations immediately. We anticipate the rooms will be booked quickly.

Reservations should be made by March 24, 2008 to receive the discounted rates. After this date, rooms may be available at a higher rate. To receive this conference rate, please call the Renaissance 512-343-2626. Remember to ask for reservations for the "Texas Aviation Conference" to receive special discounted rates on sleeping rooms.

Additional Overflow Hotel Options

Note: These hotels do not have a formal room block with the Texas Aviation Conference. These have been listed as a convenience. These hotels will extend the state government rate to state government employees only. Proper identification will be required at check-in.

Parking

The Renaissance Hotel provides complimentary parking with over 600 spaces. Valet parking is also available for a fee.

Shuttle Service

If you need transportation from Austin Bergstrom International Airport, Super Shuttle is available. Upon arrival proceed to the lower level and collect your luggage, follow the signs to the Super Shuttle ticket counter located next to Baggage Carrousel 1. Tickets can be purchased one-way or round trip. Go to the Super Shuttle website to make advance reservations or for more information.
