Conference Registration

Pre-registration is recommended and will help us in planning and preparing a better conference. If you pre-register, your name tag and program packet will be ready when you arrive at the hotel. The fee is $125 through April 10, 2009. A $50 late fee will be added to registrations received after April 10, 2009. An additional $75 fee will be added for all on-site registrations. TxDOT employees are exempt from the registration fee, but must register in advance for the conference.

NOTE: Online registration will be available until 5:00 pm CST, May 1, 2009. After this date, please plan to register on-site at the Hilton Austin.

You are encouraged to register online. Please make check or money orders (U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank) payable to TTI-Avtn09. Event Management & Planning (EM&P) also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. If paying by check or money order, you may register online and then mail your payment to EM&P. EM&P cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference. NO PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI-EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

The registration fee covers conference handouts, break refreshments, Monday and Tuesday evening activities, including the awards banquet.

Cancellation

Only cancellations received in writing by EM&P by 5:00 p.m. CST on April 10, 2009 will be refunded, less $50 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after this date.

Special Activities

Golf Tournament

On Monday, May 11, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our 12th Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled at the Bluebonnet Golf Club located in Austin, Texas. All golfers must be registered to attend the conference. If you are interested in playing, please contact EM&P for further information as there will be a small fee.

Bowling Tournament

Also on Monday, the 2nd Annual Bowling Tournament, sponsored by Garver Engineers, from 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. The tournament will consist of two hours of bowling and lunch will be included. There will be a fee. Participants are not required to be registered for the conference. Please contact EM&P for details.

Get-Acquainted Reception

A get acquainted reception is planned for Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The reception will be in the Exhibit Area at the Hilton Austin with Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Awards Banquet

Plan to join us on Tuesday evening for the Awards Banquet. All registered participants are encouraged to attend. Guest tickets are also available for $30. Tickets can be purchased online when you register for the conference. There will be a reception prior to the banquet, sponsored by Texas Airport Council formerly TAMA and a social following the banquet, hosted by Rodriguez Engineering.

Hotel Reservations

The Hilton Austin room block has sold out.

The Hilton Garden Inn also has a block of rooms available. Please request "2009 Texas Aviation Conference" to receive the special rate when making your reservations. You may contact the hotel toll free at (877) 782-9444. Reservations will be accepted through April 24, 2009.

Parking

The Hilton Austin has both self parking and valet parking for a fee. Please visit their website for additional information.

Shuttle Service

If you need transportation from Austin Bergstrom International Airport, Super Shuttle is available. Upon arrival proceed to the lower level and collect your luggage, follow the signs to the Super Shuttle ticket counter located next to Baggage Carrousel 1. Tickets can be purchased one-way or round trip. Go to the Super Shuttle website to make advance reservations or for more information.
