| Bio/Expertise Highlights: | Since 1998 the presenter has been the district bridge engineer in San Antonio where we have several regions that are susceptible to scour. Under his direction, the San Antonio District Bridge Section has designed scour repairs for multiple sites and developed tools and resources to provide guidance to district design offices. He has over 22 years with the TxDOT, most of which has been bridge related. He received a bachelor's science degree in civil engineering in 1985 from Texas A&M University and completed a master's of science degree, specializing in structural/geotechnical engineering, in 1997 at the University of Texas in Austin. |
