Presentation Summary: This presentation will provide insight into how the Workcenter help desk application may best be used to optimize the management of IT issues, particularly within a virtual, regionalized environment.

Extensive knowledge and experience with customized Workcenter database, query and form design, as well as SQL workflow and diagnostic techniques. Extensive experience and academic training on various IT continuous improvement processes.

Presentation Summary: The presentation will demonstrate to the attendees the process used to view GPS data after it has been collected.
Bio/Expertise Highlights: As a registered professional land surveyor, Mr. Zercher has been actively involved in GPS technology since the late 80's. He has been instrumental in the development of numerous systems using GPS collection and databases currently in use by the department. He currently serves as the branch manager for the Surveying, GPS and GIS Support Unit at TSD.

Presentation Summary: Future directions for GEOPAK software to develop 3-D models for use in automated machine guidance.
Bio/Expertise Highlights: I am the branch supervisor of the Engineering Systems Support branch. As such, I am responsible for the development, support, and training of all CADD software in TxDOT. Under my supervision, personnel evaluate, test, and interface with new products. We also work closely with the vendors to ensure TxDOT needs are addressed with future software directions.
