TTI Council Member: Charles A. Ellison

Mr. Ellison graduated from Brenham High School in 1972 and graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 1976. After receiving his law degree from The Texas Tech School of Law in 1979, he spent four years in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps.

Ellison is on the Board of Directors of The First National Bank of Bryan and the State Bank of Jewett. He is a member of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel and the Attorney's Council for the Independent Bankers Association of Texas. In 1993, he was selected to serve on the Texas Banking Code Revision Task Force, which was responsible for drafting the Texas Bank Act signed into law in 1995.

In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors of the Brazos Community Foundation and the Ethics Committee of Hospice Brazos Valley, Mr. Ellison served as the Chair of the United Way Campaign Drive for the United Way of Brazos Valley in 2003. He is a graduate of Leadership Brazos and the Brazos County Leadership Forum.

Ellison served as the 2004 President of the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M. He has also served as a board member of the Brazos County A&M Club and the Texas A&M University Corps Development Council. Chuck is on the Texas A&M University System's Chancellor's Century Council and is a member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association, the Brazos County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
