TTI Council Member: Judy Hawley

Judy Hawley served four terms in the Texas House of Representatives. During her tenure in the House, she focused her legislative agendas around issues that impacted South Texas. She served as Vice-Chair of both the Transportation and Energy Resources Committees and authored numerous bills relating to those industries. Additionally, she served as Chair of the Rural Caucus, carrying the legislation establishing the Office of Rural Community Affairs. Ms. Hawley represented Texas as Vice-Chair of the Southern States Energy Board and as a member of the National Energy Council.

Currently, Ms. Hawley is the Texas Business Development Director for a distributed engineering company which focuses on high technology homeland security and defense solutions. She is a Commissioner for the Port of Corpus Christi and serves on numerous statewide transportation and community boards.

Ms. Hawley is married to David Hawley, owner of a regional CPA firm headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas.
