The objectives of the project were to 1) collect,review, and analyze statistics and data associated with alcohol-impaired motorcycle operation; 2) identify and document educational, public information, and other programs and activities to reduce alcohol-impaired motorcycle operation; and 3) prepare summaries of NHTSA-selected programs to reduce alcohol-impaired motorcycle operation. The findings were produced in response to requirements outlined in federal transportation legislation passed in 2005.
