Environment and Air Quality
The Environment and Air Quality Division of TTI consists of three programs:
The researchers at the Air Quality Program focus on transportation-related air quality and allied considerations, covering a range of topics such as mobile source emissions (including greenhouse gases), transportation sustainability, energy and climate change.
Research in the Environment and Planning Program involves identifying, analyzing, and developing solutions for sustainable roadsides.
The Transportation Modeling group gives sponsors the information they need to achieve compliance with federal clean air standards.
