Researchers in the Mobility Management Program are nationally known for their work in the areas of managed lanes development and operations, high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane design and enforcement, and high-occupancy toll lanes. The program has provided research and technical support to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and TxDOT, as well as implementation support and independent technical review for managed lane projects developed in Texas, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington State.
