The TTI staff in Austin regularly conduct research for sponsors that assess the public’s perceptions on a variety of issues.  The topics can range from transportation funding to local road safety issues.  The staff can analyze the research statement to be addressed and work with the sponsor to determine the most effective methodology to collect the data.  The staff is experienced in designing and conducting focus groups, in-depth interviews and surveys.  The data can then be analyzed and some conclusions can be drawn.  TTI staff also has the expertise to coordinate and facilitate workshops.  This expertise assists transportation partners across the region with broad scopes such as visioning and smaller topical workshops to address specific projects.
