TransLink® Research Center

Description

The TransLink® Research Center is a national, multi-modal, multi-agency public-private program of research, development, and professional education. It is designed to advance surface transportation system management to help bring about the effective and efficient movement of people and goods in an environmentally sensitive manner.

TransLink® performs research in the area of Intelligent Transportation Systems, or ITS. By improving and linking together the various facets of the surface transportation system, the overall efficiency can be increased, which produces system-wide benefits.

The TransLink® Research Center is located within the Texas Transportation Institute, an internationally recognized leader in transportation research and a member of the Texas A&M University System.
