Short Biography

Nick relocated to College Station in July 2009 from San Antonio, Texas, continuing his service in public education that began with the Northside Independent School District in 1999. Most recently at Northside ISD, Nick served as the police department's communications systems manager, responsible for administering the department's computer, data network and radio communications systems. Prior to that, Nick served as the district's web technologist, responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the district's internet and intranet websites.

Nick is also a member of the United States Air Force Reserve at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, where he has served since 2003 as a security forces patrolman and combat arms instructor. In these positions, Nick performs military law enforcement duties, participates in air base ground defense, and provides weapons instruction to Air Force personnel. His service in the Air Force includes one tour in Iraq and a mobilization during Hurricane Katrina.
