Short Biography
Mark I. Ojah is an Associate Research Specialist at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute in College Station, Texas. He performs data checking, processing and GIS analysis for household, workplace and commercial vehicle surveys in TTI's Transportation Planning Program.Mr. Ojah also assists with project oversight and English-Spanish translations for TxDOT travel surveys. In addition, he has provided analytical support on federal, state, and private trip generation, value pricing, emissions, and border-related research projects and has coordinated, supervised, and participated in several large data collection efforts.
Mr. Ojah has worked for TTI since 2001. Before joining TTI, he was a Research Affiliate at the University of Manitoba Transport Institute in Winnipeg, Canada. His professional affiliations include membership on the International Trade and Transportation Committee (AT020) of the Transportation Research Board (TRB).
Mr. Ojah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Geography and Spanish, 1999) and Certificate in Logistics (2000) from the University of Manitoba. In 2005, he earned a designation in Supply Chain and Transportation Logistics Management from the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (CITT).
