Short Biography
Over the past 20 years, Ms. Ellis has been involved in almost every major type of transportation planning work, including the development of comprehensive transportation plans, analysis of alternatives, transit route and operational studies, environmental analyses, demographic forecasting, and land use impact analysis. She also has been involved in developing solutions to capacity/operational problems during the schematic design of facilities. The wide range of professional projects has provided her with an excellent experience base for developing and applying transportation planning methodologies.Recent research efforts focused on support of the conduct and analysis of travel surveys in Texas, and in the development of simplified demographic forecasting techniques and the conduct of training in these techniques.
