Short Biography

Mr. Rathod is an Assistant Transportation Researcher with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from S P University in India and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Arlington. He joined TTI in 2004 and is a registered E.I.T. in Texas.

Mr. Rathod has worked with various TxDOT districts through inter-agency contracts with the Department. He has experience in freeway operations, signalized intersections, environmental impact analysis, simulation modeling using VISSIM, CORSIM, HCS 2000, PASSER etc., and crash data analysis. His area of expertise also includes software programming using JAVA, C, C++ and VB, MySQL and MS Access databases and website programming using PHP, JavaScript and HTML.

Mr. Rathod is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and a member of the Greater Fort Worth section of TxITE. He has been an active participant in the Transportation Management Team (TMT) meeting for the Fort Worth district.
