Short Biography

Mr. Arturo Bujanda is an Assistant Research Specialist in TTI's El Paso Office. His research experience and professional interests include innovative financing, financial modeling, network modeling, traffic impact analysis, and geographic information systems.

Since joining TTI, Mr. Bujanda has been actively involved in many research and implementation projects including value-capture potential for infrastructure financing, assessment of the viability of a regional transportation consortium, infrastructure planning and micro and mesoscopic simulation projects in El Paso. Also, he assessed the institutional characteristics of the transportation agencies in El Paso region for incident/congestion-management coordination and traffic-operations. Mr. Bujanda has extensively assisted in many cross-border operations projects and multiple translations.

Prior to joining TTI, Mr. Bujanda was a Research Assistant for the Center for Transportation Infrastructure Systems at the University of Texas at El Paso. He was actively involved in research projects that included a Dynamic Modeling Approach and Ground Penetration Radar in bridges for TxDOT in El Paso region.
