Short Biography
Michael Yager is an assistant transportation researcher with the Multimodal Freight Transportation Program of the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI). Yager holds a master's degree in industrial and systems engineering and a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, both from Texas A&M University. Yager is registered as an engineer-in-training in Texas (EIT No. 45472).Since joining TTI, Yager has been extensively involved with the design and development of the Freight Shuttle System, a transformational new mode of freight transportation. He is currently the principal investigator on a project developing the concept for an automated cross-border segment of the Freight Shuttle System.
