Mobility Monitoring Program - Year Five

Project Description

The focus of this ongoing, five-year project is to provide transportation management and operations center personnel with performance measures and analysis techniques to improve the systems and measure the benefits. The Texas Transportation Institute research team is working with Cambridge Systematics, Federal Highway Administration, and traffic management centers from more than 30 U.S. metropolitan regions. The information collected from the systems is used to prepare monthly and annual reports on congestion and reliability.
