Special Data Requirements for Transportation Analysis

Project Description

The objective of this project is to:

• provide information, training, and assistance to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Transportation Planning and Programming Division (TPP) in the design, implementation, management, compilation, analysis, reporting, and archiving of special data required for transportation analysis and travel demand modeling;
• provide oversight and guidance to TxDOT consultants on the conduct and methods of origin-destination travel surveys throughout the state of Texas; and
• develop bid specifications for external, household, workplace, and commercial vehicle travel surveys and analyze survey data and results.
