Anti-Ram Bollards, Walls, and Fences

Project Description

Events of September 11 have increase the awareness of terrorist vulnerability of embassies and other facilities within the United States and abroad. TTI is involved in numerous projects for the U.S. State Department and others involving the full-scale crash testing of anti-ram and anti-terrorist perimeter barriers, fences, and gates. Much of the work underway involves testing fortifications for sensitive locations around the world. Gates, retractable bollards (posts that prevent vehicles from entering an area), net systems, and other means of stopping potential vehicle bombs are tested to ensure that they comply with federal standards. The bollard and wall designs tested are being implemented at U.S. embassies around the world.
