Development of a Mileage-Based User Fee Research Website
Project Description
Continuing research on mileage-based user fees (MBUFs), this project developed a website to support planning the first-ever Symposium on Mileage-Based User Fees. Researchers initially developed the website to disseminate information about the symposium but it became a one-stop-shop for anyone interested in MBUFs. The website provides journal articles, media coverage, and various commentaries on MBUFs. This report documents recent improvements including:
- Updating the current list of available research reports on the topic.
- Updating the current list of resources related to general transportation funding and financing issues.
- Developing a system for making bi-weekly mailings to current MBUF website subscribers.
- Developing an Internet forum function.
