Abstract:

This product includes workshop materials (a procedures manual and PowerPoint handouts) for the Full Depth Reclamation Workshop. Full-depth reclamation (FDR) is the process of rehabilitating an old pavement by pulverizing and stabilizing the existing pavement. FDR is a potential economical rehabilitation alternative that gives deep structural benefit, conserves road construction raw materials, and quickly returns the section to service. The researchers present the advantages and disadvantages of FDR, and detail the steps to put FDR into practice.
