Pavement Preservation and System Optimization Task Force (0-6655-TI-1)

This pavement preservation and system optimization task force researched funding challenges for pavement repair faced by state DOTs and the possible consequences of limited mobility project funding. This draft presentation provides: an overview of a proposed three-tier system, preliminary results from a state DOT survey, initial estimates of required funding, ideas for UTP Category 1 Formula, and an overview of the status of mobility. The presentation was designed to identify key messages and data needs to guide the remainder of the research.
