Abstract:
This document provides slides from a presentation on National Cooperative Highway Research Program 09-49, Performance of WMA Technologies: Stage 1-Moisture Susceptibility by Amy Epps Martin of the Texas Transportation Institute. The presentation discusses the objectives of the project: answering the question, do warm-mix asphalt technologies adversely affect moisture susceptibility; and creating guides for identifying and limiting moisture susceptibility. It also describes the four phases of the work plan: (1) information collection, (2) conduct and document work plan developed in Phase I, and (3 and 4) create guidelines, specifications, and documentation.
