Researchers have a range of expertise in understanding the roles and opportunities involved with finance and economic issues. Research topics include investigation of a range of alternative transportation revenue sources, as well as specific studies of the feasibility and effects of priced service facilities such as high-occupancy toll lanes, managed lane facilities, and toll highways. Researchers have also investigated the effect of transportation investments on congestion, fuel consumption, real estate values, and business operating efficiency.
