Energy Management and Conservation Plan
Executive Order RP-49, implemented on October 27, 2005, requires state agencies and institutes of higher education to present a plan for reducing consumption of electricity, motor fuels and natural gas. The Texas Transportation Institute’s Energy Management and Conservation Plan documents various initiatives implemented which have reduced energy, water and fuel consumption and ensure employee awareness in related areas.
