Cameron Thomas joined TTI in 2024 as a Data Analyst with the Research and Implementation Division. Since joining TTI, Cameron has worked on a number of projects. He has cleaned construction workdays data and developed an interactive data analysis app using RStudio for a TxDOT Finance Division project seeking to re-evaluate the current estimated workdays tables. He has contributed to mapping out speed zone segments and stations in the greater DFW area with ArcGIS to be turned into an interactive dashboard. He has inventoried road geometry using Google Earth and compiled crash data for a project studying the effectiveness of truck lane restrictions. He has matched HELP Alerts to TMC events and mapped out incident geofences in ArcGIS for a project analyzing the Return to Normal times after an incident.
