Dr. Arash Noshadravan is an Assistant Professor at Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Prior to that, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub (CSHub). He earned his Ph.D. (2011) in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California. Dr. Noshadravan possesses extensive expertise in reliability and risk assessment, lifecycle performance evaluation, computational mechanics, and data analytics, which he leverages to enhance risk-informed lifetime performance and integrity management of aging civil and energy infrastructure. Dr. Noshadravan has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications. His work has garnered support from various industries and federal agencies, including the Crisman-Berg-Hughes Institute for petroleum research, Talos Energy Inc., TxDOT, and USDOT National University Transportation Center. Dr. Noshadravan has been recognized as the recipient of the 2021 Texas A&M Institute of Data Science Career Initiation Fellow and the 2020 Truman R. Jones Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award.
