Ashesh Pant is an Associate Data Scientist in the Center for Transportation Safety at Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI). Ashesh joined TTI in 2013 and works on a range of transportation projects involving data analysis, evaluation, and safety research. His work includes extracting, cleaning, and analyzing crash data; generating crash statistics; linking crash data with roadway inventory and other datasets; conducting spatial analyses; and developing data visualizations, dashboards, and technical reports. He also analyzes crash narratives and other detailed crash variables to identify patterns and contributing factors.

Ashesh is interested in applying statistical and data science methods to transportation safety research. He works with researchers and project teams to improve data processes, analyze complex transportation data, and communicate results clearly to support transportation decision-making.
