TTI Associate Agency Director Ed Seymour was named a Regents Fellow by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents during its meeting Dec. 2.
Seymour joins 75 other agency professionals who have been singled out for the Regents Fellow Service Award since the program began in 1998. He is only the seventh TTI employee to receive the award, including Hayes Ross, Gene Buth, Dock Burke, Dennis Christiansen Tim Lomax and Roger Bligh.
“In some ways, I view this honor as a career achievement award,” Seymour says of the Regent Fellow designation. “I never go into projects thinking they will produce some sort of accolade, so recognition of this caliber for a body of work is humbling and a true honor.”
In addition to the seven Regent Fellows named in December, the board also honored 11 professors with its Regents Professor Award. The award programs were developed as a way to recognize employees who have made exemplary contributions to their university or agency and to the people of Texas.
