The Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) has launched a new website that provides information about the Campus Transportation Technology Initiative, funded by Texas A&M University and currently under way by TTI under the direction of Texas A&M Transportation Services. The website includes current research projects and a link to the Request for Information (RFI) for companies interested in exploring the advantages of testing their transportation technologies at Texas A&M University. The website may be accessed at http://smartcampus.tti.tamu.edu/.
The Campus Transportation Technology Initiative explores new opportunities to advance campus transportation operations and future planning priorities. By partnering with companies to bring technologies and innovation to the forefront of the campus transportation ecosystem, the goal of this initiative is to provide transportation solutions to enhance the quality of life for students, employees and visitors on campus.
“We are excited to launch our website that will serve as a one-stop shop for anyone seeking information on the smart campus initiative,” said TTI Senior Research Scientist Bob Brydia.
