Short Biography
Courtney Hrncir joined the CADES team in July 2021 as a Research Specialist. She has aided in projects related to blood alcohol concentration (BAC) reporting practices, ignition interlock devices, and treatment and referral services for impaired drivers experiencing mental illness and substance use conditions. Her commitment and drive to eliminate impaired-driving crashes and fatalities and encourage behavioral health improvements stems from witnessing those closest to her experience the consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Previously, Ms. Hrncir worked for Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station as a program specialist with the Engineering Professional Education team. She was responsible for overseeing professional development course registrations, communication, and management. Ms. Hrncir is skilled at assessing community needs, program planning, implementation and evaluation, data analysis, and grant writing. In 2017, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Texas A&M University.
