Short Biography

Zachary has nine years of transportation research experience and is responsible for a diverse range of projects in his role with TTI’s Transit Mobility Program. His interests and efforts include equity, accessibility, innovation, inclusion of technology and automation in transportation, alternative and active modes, public health, alternative funding, innovative finance, and urban design. Zachary is the Transit Mobility program’s lead investigator for transit equity and access with a focus on projects that seek to preserve and improve access to public transit and other mobility options for marginalized and underserved communities. Since 2016 he has led seven such research projects including an assessment the equity implications of new and emerging fare payment technologies and training on equity assessment.
