Georges Bou-Saab graduated with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering degree from the American University in Dubai before moving to the U.S. to pursue his post-graduate education. He earned both his M.Sc. (2014) and Ph.D. (2019) degrees in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. His research primarily focused on systemic safety methodologies on rural roadways, Highway Safety Manual application, SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study data in work zones, and vehicular emissions modeling. Prior to joining TTI as a research scientist, Georges worked as a transportation engineer for a consulting firm. He is also involved with various professional organizations, such as the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA).
