Short Biography

John Habermann joined the TTI Research and Implementation Division as the Lead Mobility Coordinator on the I-35 Mobility Coordination Project. John moved to the Waco area to start an I-35 project office for TTI. In his role as mobility coordinator, John has worked to advance traffic and work zone safety initiatives such as automated, portable, smart traffic, monitoring systems, variable speed limits in work zones, dynamic speed display signs, comparative travel time signs, and the dynamic late lane merge.  John regularly engages a breadth of stakeholders, along the I-35 corridor, to keep elected officials, travelers, business owners, and property owners current on construction activities and the potential impacts those activities could have on day-to-day operations.
