Abstract:
As part of the 2014 Texas Transportation Poll, this analysis provides insight into the transportation issues that are most significant to the public. Understanding the most commonly faced transportation issues and the degree of negative or positive sentiment toward these issues can allow policy makers to better deduce how palatable potential transportation policies will be to the public. Additionally, this analysis establishes a baseline process for researchers to conduct further qualitative analyses that will inform future quantitative studies, including the next Texas Transportation Poll.
