Abstract:

This brochure presents the challenges to exploring and understanding cross-border trip characteristics using crowdsourced data. It cites time and budget limitations as well as international jurisdiction limits for the binational metropolitan regions. Two studies by INRIX and SafeGraph show the parameters within which the researchers worked. These two studies then listed the data benefits gleaned.
