Holly Parker holds an MS from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and is a Transportation Planner focused on bicycle, pedestrian, transit and micromobility facilities and policy. She is a Research Scientist at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Her previous role was as Active Transportation Lead at SLR Consulting. She has over 28 years of experience in active transportation planning - 14 of which were spent managing campus transportation programs at Harvard and Yale Universities. Holly has a deep understanding of the planning and public engagement required to support sustainable and high-occupancy modes of transportation. She has spent her career facilitating meetings and conducting outreach, and she has formalized this experience with a National Charrette Institute (NCI) training and certification. She is responsible for bringing the first carshare and modern bikeshare programs to Connecticut and is a Transportation Demand Management Certified Professional (TDM-CP).
