Holly Parker is a Transportation Planner and formerly the Active Transportation Lead at SLR Consulting. She has over 28 years of experience in active transportation planning and project management and has a deep understanding of the infrastructure and outreach required to support walking, cycling, transit, and micromobility. Holly served Lane Transit District’s Commuter Solutions Program while that agency built one of the nation’s first BRT systems, then crossed the country to initiate one of the first university sustainable transportation programs at Harvard University. She then created and ran a similar program at Yale. Holly has formalized her career-long facilitation of meetings and public engagement with a National Charrette Institute (NCI) certification. She is responsible for bringing the first carshare and modern bikeshare programs to Connecticut, and is a Transportation Demand Management Certified Professional (TDM-CP).
